Established in 1980 as a used equipment trader and subsequent parts dealer. We have over the years grown to specialise in the trade of used earthmoving equipment, components and parts used in the mining construction and related sectors. We have many loyal customers from around the globe. We endeavour to source and procure product that is current and required for the ever changing market. Our focus is on quality, service and on building ongoing relationships with our customers.
In 1980… A dream became a reality as Dozer Parts was formed and officially started right in this very building by the late DS Reynolds and Jan Du Toit!
Shortly after inception, we got a call for some required Caterpillar spare parts and by default a CAT D7E Track Dozer was brought in and dismantled for parts, all being sold out very soon after… This being the start of our component trade and something big and exciting for the “Dozer” franchise within Southern Africa and soon to be globally.
We then made the move to import and bring in New Original Caterpillar equipment, components & parts from places such as Italy, Spain, the USA and many other countries.
Dozer Machine Sales was also formed alongside Dozer Parts in the 1980’s as we could completely rebuild these machines from start to finish within our yard using the new supply of spares we were importing in.
The main focus being on the rebuilding of used CAT machinery such as the 920 FELs, 930 FELs, 950A FELs, 966C FELs, D4D/E Track Dozers, D6C Track Dozers, D7E/F/G up to D9H Track Dozers, Cat 140G Graders and 215 and 225 Excavators.

Dozer itself used to specialise within the equipment hire industry. Hiring out a wide and vast range of equipment to the South African market and beyond!
